Mallorca Watersports Summer Camps and English or Spanish lessons during the summer months

The program takes place during the summer months of July and August in the National Sailing School of Calanova, an astonishing location on the seafront. The complex has two buildings (Reina Sofia and Calanova residences) with all rooms facing the sea. It is located in the Port of Calanova, only 15 minutes from the centre of Palma. Being the best Water Sports school in Spain, it is used each summer by the Royal Spanish Family. (Majorca airport, 20 minutes)

Academic Summer Camp Program at Mallorca Watersports

Spanish/English Lessons:

• 15 hours per week tuition. Monday through Friday (3 lessons/day - 50 min./lesson)
• Qualified native Spanish/English teachers
• Three language levels: beginner, intermediate, advanced
• Placement test online before the beginning of the course
• Groups arranged by age and skills
• All academic materials supplied
• Course report and certificate awarded

Spanish will be the language spoken during the programme. All teachers and instructors speak English to help beginner students if necessary.

Rooms

Quadruple and two six-bed rooms (shared bathrooms – ratio 1:4). Boys and girls are accommodated separately and placed according to age

Facilities

Laundry service for students clothes; Cleaning service, changing of towels and bed linen once a week (included). Large terrace and a social lounge where students can meet and relax and well equipped classrooms. Lessons are thought in the residence premises. There is a TV room & Table tennis facilities, a Games room & Dining hall and there is also a Wifi zone in the common rooms The complex has an outdoor swimming pool. The building Reina Sofia is fully air-conditioned and there is a medical centre/hospital 10 minutes from campus.
