We are an independent English language school located in the heart of Cork city in the south of Ireland. Founded to serve the needs of those whose first language is not English, our aim is to provide excellent instruction in the English language in a friendly environment that gives our students the opportunity to use the English language with native speakers and practice with each other while gaining a greater understanding of Irish life and culture.

Standard Home Stay
You live with a host family where you will get to experience life in an Irish household and practice your English in real life situations. Our host families are carefully selected, friendly local families who are happy to welcome you into their home. You will have a single room with breakfast and evening meal provided Monday to Friday and Breakfast, lunch and evening meal on Saturday and Sunday. Most family homes are located just outside the city centre and so you may need to take public transport to and from the school.Average distance between the school and host families is 30.Transfers to and from Cork airport on your arrival and departure are also included.

General English: The General English Course is a 20 hour per week module which runs Monday to Friday in the morning for four hours each day. This leaves you free for the remainder of the day to join the Social Activity Programme, study in our self access facilities or explore Cork and the surrounding areas.

General English Afternoon: The General English Afternoon course is a 15 hour per week module which runs Monday to Friday 13.45 to 17.00 with a 15 minute break each day. The main focus of the General English 15 hour course is on communication skills in real life settings.

IELTS Preparation: The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed to examine your ability to work, study, or live in an English speaking environment. This IELTS Preparation programme consists of 5 hours afternoon add-on tuition. It is suitable for students who are aiming to take the IELTS Academic Exam either while they are in Cork or at some time in the future. The afternoon classes are available as an add-on to students who are studying General English GE15 in the mornings.

Business English: The Business English Course is perfect for students of business, those already working in the business environment and in regular contact with business clients and also those who will be working in English in the future. Students improve their business communication vocabulary and ability to speak about a wide variety of business topics. Our flexible, rolling enrolment option allows students to start every Monday.
