Amsterdam progression

General entry requirements

IELTS 5.0 (minimum 5.0 in writing and no other sub scores below 4.5

A three-term pathway
programme

The International Foundation Year will fully prepare you for your chosen undergraduate degree at one of our partner universities in Holland. Study at our centre in Amsterdam or Groningen and choose from two routes: Business and Management or Science and Engineering.

You will study a mix of core and subject-related modules to develop your academic skills, English language, employability skills and academic knowledge. This Foundation programme is an ideal first step towards studying an English-taught degree in business and management at a university in Holland. 

Studying in small classes for 16 hours per week, plus 20 hours of self-study per week, you will be thoroughly prepared to enter your chosen degree

*ELP is offered in September – one term before the University of Applied Sciences International Foundation Year starts in January – to enable students to improve their English language skills before joining the programme.
