nternational Study Centre programmes are delivered by Study Group in partnership with a range of leading Dutch universities. Many universities will offer work placement opportunities as part of your degree. This gives you the chance to build on your theoretical knowledge and apply it to real-life situations. With the Dutch education system, Universities of Applied Sciences are particularly career-focused, offering practical degrees and work placements.
You will also have access to your University's careers service, which offers career support, workshops and advice on CV writing and interviews.

International Foundation Year in Amsterdam
Business, Economics and Social Sciences
You will study a mix of core and subject-related modules to develop your academic skills, English language, employability skills and academic knowledge. This Foundation programme is an ideal first step towards studying an English-taught degree in Business, Economics and Social Sciences at a university in Holland.
Studying in small classes for 20 hours per week, plus 20 hours of self-study per week, you will be thoroughly prepared to enter your chosen degree at one of our partner universities.
Core modules
You will study three core modules throughout your programme. These are common to all students studying the International Foundation Year: Academic English Skills; Tutorial; University and Career Skills
Route modules
You will study a selection of route modules (typically eight over three terms). The modules you study will depend on your chosen progression degree. These modules will introduce you to key topics related to your degree and prepare you for undergraduate study
Progression universities
Once you successfully complete your programme and achieve the required academic grades, you can progress to selected degrees at one of the following universities:

Science, Engineering and Computing
This three-term programme comprises core and subject-related modules designed to prepare you for undergraduate study in Holland. These modules will develop your academic skills, English language, employability skills and subject knowledge and prepare you for an English-taught degree in the field of science, engineering and computing.
Studying in small classes for 16 hours per week, plus 20 hours of self-study per week, you will be thoroughly prepared to enter your chosen degree at one of our partner universities.
